Today sees the release of Sunny War‘s latest album Anarchist Gospel and she’ll be taking it on tour over the next couple of months, including a stop at SXSW. “No Reason” is the latest single off the album. Check it out below.

Another week, another round of acts announced for SXSW, which is now just a little over 5 weeks away.
And while there are a few familiar names in this latest round, there are a lot that are brand new to me too, including Nashville power pop outfit The Prescriptions, whose latest release, Time Apart, came out in November of last year. Check out the video for lead track “April Blossoms” below.
Today sees the announcement of the latest round of acts playing this year’s edition of SXSW, with more than 300 new names added, including such notables as New Order, Tangerine Dream, Killer Mike, Immersion, and Sports Team.
But today, we turn the spotlight to one of the Toronto-based acts on that list, Georgia Harmer. And, as it just so happens, Harmer has a song about the very city she’ll be playing in March – Austin, Texas. Seems like an apropos choice, then.

Heartworms is the project of South London’s Jojo Orme, who will be bringing her goth/post-punk sounds to Austin this March for SXSW. “Retributions Of An Awful Life” is the latest single off of Heartworms’ upcoming debut EP A Comforting Notion, out on March 24 via Speedy Wunderground.
