If you’re a Northern Soul fan be sure to check out this soulicious song (in video form here) from Estelle. If you mixed this track in between Frank Wilson and Barbara Mills you wouldn’t even notice the song was produced in 2008. The song also features Cee-Lo (Gnarls Barkley), who doesn’t make an appearance in the video which I find curious. Is it perhaps because I made fun of him in a previous post? Well if it’s any consolation C-Dawg, your duet with Estelle is a hell of alot better than his.
Comedy troupe Summer of Tears managed to flawlessly impose themselves into Teen Wolf. The result will leave you howling.

(Toronto) Two days, two videos that have blown my mind. I am still trying to get over the Brighton Port Authority video that Ricky posted a couple of days ago. The second video that has caught my attention comes via Cajun Dance Party. I first saw it over at Indie Kid vs. Dance Kid and I can’t stop watching it. I guess they had some heart shaped flare filter on their camera for this, their Colourful Life video. Watch out for the part where they go through the tunnel.
I did some research and found how you can do a similar effect using some construction papaer and a string of Christmas lights. Learn how to make your own heart shaped bokeh over at DIYphotography.
Finally, the first video from She & Him’s Volume 1. Not quite what I would have expected, but it’s still pretty cool in a morbid-cute kinda way.
