Walking into DC9 on Friday night was like walking into a time portal where all the best parts of the ’70s collected and condensed into the cozy little second story stage for one last time. Watching Stanley Jordan play guitar is like watching water flow. It’s a fluid motion. It’s entrancing and calming and enrapturing all at once. It carries an elemental energy. It’s a force of nature.
