Today sees the announcement of the latest round of acts playing this year’s edition of SXSW, with more than 300 new names added, including such notables as New Order, Tangerine Dream, Killer Mike, Immersion, and Sports Team.

But today, we turn the spotlight to one of the Toronto-based acts on that list, Georgia Harmer. And, as it just so happens, Harmer has a song about the very city she’ll be playing in March – Austin, Texas. Seems like an apropos choice, then.

After a few years full of high profile, big name acts topping the bill at SXSW, the festival has scaled things back over the past several years. But just because it’s been a while since we’ve seen the likes of Lady Gaga, Springsteen, Metallica, and Drake showing up at SouthBy, that doesn’t mean there aren’t still a few legendary names playing Austin this March. One of those is The Zombies, who first got their start more than 60 years ago and are still going strong today.

Check out the live performance of their classic tune “This Will Be Our Year”, recorded back in 2021 at Abbey Road Studios, below.

Rhinestone Pickup Truck’s Adore Me EP is out now on PNKSLM. Check out the video for “Bee Sting” below.
