SXSW Song of the Day: Jazzbois – Mosquitoh

One of the best things about SXSW is the joy of discovering something that you might not have come across otherwise. Whether it be branching out to investigate a genre that you don’t normally listen to, checking out an international act that doesn’t often make it across the pond to North American shores, or simply walking into a random venue to see whoever may be on stage at that moment, your chances of finding something new and intriguing are pretty high at SouthBy.

One new (to me) act that I am definitely intrigued by on this year’s lineup is Budapest jazz fusion dudes Jazzbois. Check out the video below for a live performance of the band’s “Mosquitoh” recorded outdoors and next to the Danube River.

Jazzbois play Shangri-La on March 12 @ 11:00pm and The International Day Stage on March 14 @ 4:00pm.
