I was sad that I missed Au Revoir Simone‘s show earlier this year. It was probably the first Au Revoir Simone show I had missed in a long time, but I guess that is what you get when you go on vacation during concert season. The trio released an album earlier this year that I had not focused on until now. At first glance, it seems that Move In Spectrums is definitely a lot more upbeat then their previous album. It still features the groups trademark harmonies, pop hooks and synthy goodness but also features a nice beat that you can definitely toe-tap to. This single off the new record, called Crazy, is a perfect example of that. Check it out.
