Metronomy are in town tonight for a show at the Mod Club. The English dance-pop act has mostly been under the radar for most of their career until recently, when their sophomore album The English Riveira got a nomination for the Mercury Prize. Before the nomination, you might have heard about them through a host of remixes including a remix of Kate Nash’s Foundation as well as a breakbot remix of one of their track A Thing For Me.
Well, I’m here to tell you that Metronomy has been making stellar head boppin, toe tapping tunes for awhile now and it should be a good show tonight. This track is called Radio Ladio and it’s off the record Nights Out. Hand claps, child vocals and just a slick as hell synthesizer notes. This song just feels cool. Check it out
