all happening in the same weekend. looks fishy to me:

25-year-old rapper gunned down in Scarborough

Rising Quebec rap singer dies in apartment fire

anyone else getting giddy over this trailer?

I’m a total gadget-head. So much so I paid top dollar Motorola Razr a fews ago because I saw Elisha Cuthburt use it on that episode of 24 when she got kidnapped. Was it because I thought I would get a chick like Elisha if I was spotted using the phone in public? Yes, a little. But really fell in love with it because it was a cool looking device sporting awesome technology…for it’s time. I suppose that’s the whole thing - ‘for it’s time’. The Razr was introduced in 2004 and technology used in the very same phone would already be considered outdated by some when compared to today’s standards (me included - I have since switched to a Blackberry Pearl) .

I subscribe to RSS feeds of a few tech websites like Engadget and Gizmodo who just blog stories about some cool (and some down right weird) tech products out there and it never ceases to amaze me is the how much of a leap technology has taken over the course of the past few years. The ipod for example. If we look back at it’s launch in 2001 and see how far it’s technology has advanced up until today..not only for ipods but the way we listen to music as a whole, it makes me want to believe all the conspiracy theorists out there that say we owe all our current technology to AREA-51 scientists reverse engineering UFO’s…how kooky Steve Job’s managed to get his hands on the technology is another theory altogether…(i hear he likes to lick tables)

What triggered me to write this post is that Motorola has signed a deal with a company called Microvision to install micro-projecters in their phones….word.

haha

We are probably the first and only indie-twee-britpop-rock, video game-movie-travel-food-gadget reviewing, asian centric-maritime influenced Canadian blog on the interweb.
