this is not bad.
Spoilers!
24 - finally, a good episode. Its nice to know the interface to operate unmanned drones that carry nuclear warheads resembles some old school computer games. Actually it reminds me of some mac game I used to play at school when i was 13. Not much to say, other then that they killed Audrey off…I thought the Nine got cancelled? It’s nice of them to actually tell us what happened to a regular character from previous seasons, I wonder where Behrooz is. I dont think they mentioned anything about the president either. Next week is shaping up to be a fairly good episode.
Prison Break - god, these two brothers are turning into the dumbest people on earth. the show is pretty unbelievable these days, although I appreciate the super evil asian bad guy, who doesn’t like to get his hands dirty. Sounds like a typical asian..why do something when others can do it for you? I hope this show ends this season. Honestly, if i was gonna throw a hard drive into a lake, i’d probably format it a few times over first.
Lost - several strong episodes in a row. this is surprising for lost, as shows usually alternate between getting you really excited, or getting you really annoyed. This whole submarine subplot came from nowhere, and I guess it ended now. Locke is a really annoying character, so hopefully he dies and goes back to being Major Dad soon.

Ever since my Sennheisers self combusted about four months ago, I’ve had to ghetto it at work by listening to music via my earbuds, which i don’t prefer too much. It led to me listening to music at work thru speakers for half the time, and earbuds the other half. However, listening to speakers is only okay, since u don’t pick up as much details as you would with headphones. I don’t want to put the music thru the speakers too loud, as that might alienate some coworkers around me and I may get in trouble.
Anyways, during lunch hour today, I didn’t have much to do since I ate at my desk and thus went on bought myself a nice pair of speakers. The speakers in question is the Grado sr60. Now I had been eying the sr80 for sometime, but upon listening to both, i couldn’t really tell a big enough difference between the two headphones to justify spending 50$ more on a pair of speakers. Also, I found the 60s to be a bit more comfortable.
Whats the verdict? well these sound pretty good right now. I think i have to break it in a little, as the band is a bit tight right now, but there was a warning on the headphones that say you will have to break it in, so i guess that’s pretty much expected.
So i was walking to union station from work. la dee daaa. Suddenly, i get a tap on my shoulder and some stranger said ‘excuse me, i think u dropped those. i dunno they might be tickets but they looked important’.
i look back, and lying on the ground about 3 feet behind me were my arcade fire tickets.
OMFGGGGGGGGGG. that person saved my life. i was too shocked and dumbfounded at the time to thank them properly but man i feel like i should be nicer to people from now on.
i still can’t get over the fact that i almost lost my tickets. how careless is that?
i guess i was lucky today.
Funny.
