Today’s selection is a cover of a ’70s Canadian rock staple covered by a group of Canuck musicians who made their names in the ’80s and ’90s – Moe Berg (TPOH), Stephen Page (ex-BNL), Craig Northey (Odds), and Chris Murphy (Sloan), aka The Trans-Canada Highwaymen.

For their upcoming release, Explosive Hits Vol. 1, the band takes a break from their usual M.O. of playing the hits from their own catalogues and takes on some CanCon classics of the late ’60s and early ’70s. “Pretty Lady” is one such tune, originally recorded by Lighthouse back in 1973.
