Today saw the announcement of the latest round of artists playing this year’s edition of SXSW and among the notable names is the Isle of Wight-based duo of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, better known as Wet Leg.
The band has been getting a fair bit of buzz since releasing their debut single “Chaise Longue” last year and the singles that followed have been just as enticing. And from what I’ve seen from Wet Leg so far, they seem like they’d be a lot of fun live. I imagine the lobster claw mitts are not included with the live show, however.
Wet Leg’s self-titled debut album is due out on April 8 via Domino Records. Check out the video for “Wet Dream” below.
