This year marks the 25th anniversary of REM’s 1996 album New Adventures in Hi-Fi and to commemorate the occasion, the band is releasing a special 25th anniversary edition full of b-sides, alternate versions, and a bunch of other extras and goodies (out on October 29 via Craft Recordings). The first single off the album is an alternate version of “Leave” which takes a more haunting and ethereal approach than the original album version. Check it out below.
