It’s that time of year. The time when those who’ll be making the pilgrimage to Texas in a couple of months start getting a little excited about being in Austin again. Or maybe you live in Austin already, in which case it’s probably the time when you brace yourself for the massive influx of music industry interlopers and/or start making plans to get out of town.

Yes, it’s almost SXSW time again, and today sees the announcement of the latest round of performers for this year’s edition of the festival (taking place from March 13-22). There’s a lot to like in this latest list, with names such as Soccer Mommy, Lydia Lunch, Caroline Rose, Ratboys, and Snotty Nose Rez Kids standing out as some of the highlights.

And since Panic Manual is based out of Toronto, we might as well take this opportunity to shine the spotlight in the direction of one of the Torontonian acts on that list – PONY. The Toronto grunge pop band, fronted by Sam Bielanski, has put out a couple of EPs since their inception in 2014 and will be releasing their debut full length on Buzz Records some time later this year. In the meantime, check out the video for the band’s latest single “Limerence” below.
