We use to have song of the day, but yeah, let’s be less ambitious and do song of the week now. Sylvan Esso are an indie pop duo from North Carolina and their songs are the type of songs you would hear at H&M most likely, good dancey but not too dancey indie pop. Their new album What Now came out this year and this is one of the tracks off of it. It’s called Song which is pretty lazy but also slightly less lazy then when Blur called their song Song 2 for some reason.
This song reminds me of The Cure’s Just in Heaven in terms of the vocal delivery and the beat, so I automatically like it, even if it reminds me of that song a little too much.
