La Roux has taken her sweet time getting back into the game after her debut record became a hit about five years ago. That debut record, if you recall, was everywhere back in the day and Elly Jackson became a very popular person with her distinct haircut and style. Her new record, Trouble in Paradise was released a few weeks ago and it is really, really good. Basically pop perfection. Most of the tunes are catchy and just right for any summer pool party playlist. Uptight Downtown is the first track off the record.
