So long ago I don’t remember when…
To say it’s been awhile since The Wallflowers have been in the headlines would be a vast understatement. Nowadays, the only mention we see of this band is whenever sports writer Bill Simmons mentions this moment at the MTV music video awards where Springsteen sings One Headlight better then Jakob Dylan, thereby simultaneously resurrecting one career while torpedoing another. Here’s the performance:
Whatever the case maybe, we will always remember that brief fleeting moment in the mid 90s, Jakob Dylan and gang were on top of the world with a succession of successful singles, most notably One Headlight and Sixth Avenue Heartache.
It’s this moment that The Wallflowers are trying to recapture as they regrouped last year to record a new album (Glad All Over) and also go on tour.
We would like you to be part of the process.
Thanks to Live Nation, we have a pair of tickets to give away, to do this, do one of three things.
Good luck! Only winners will be notified.
