Toronto – Starting on Wednesday, local concert series Wavelength‘s will be celebrating their 10th year in existence (and 500th show) with a bang. There will be five shows spanning five nights featuring a ton of good local indie talents. In the past decade, this concert series has played host to a ton of local bands, including BSS, Constantines and probably 90% of the roster on CBC Radio 3. It’s a concert series I’ve only recently gotten into, and kinda think that I should have gone more in the past. This series of shows will also mark the end of the weekly series, but fear not, they are going to a monthly format instead.

Here is the lineup

Wednesday, February 10 @ The Music Gallery, 197 John St
8:00pm — Canaille
8:45pm — Deep Dark United
9:30pm — Pony Da Look

It’s music inside a church, how can you not go?

10:30pm — Diamond Rings

10:15pm — Magic Cheezies
11:00pm — Laura Barrett
11:45pm — The Bicycles*
12:30pm — From Fiction*

It’s music from inside a mexican restaurant, how can you not go? Also, The Bicycles and From Fiction are reforming for this one show! I am not sure who they are though.

This is the last Wavelengths show, and you can be sure it’ll go out with a bang. The real question is how chatty the Garrison crowd will be. I’m willing to bet real chatty.

They might be chatty at the Garrison, but at least you’ll be able to throw your jacket on a pool table.

It would be weird if you didn’t write about it now. I’d have to remind you if you missed that part.
