Toronto – 2009 was an interesting year for music, but since I’m horrible at making lists (and recalling things) I’m drawing a complete blank.  Off the top of my head, here are some of the musical highs and lows from 2009:

Favourite radio singles:
Heads will Roll, Yeah Yeah Yeahs
My Love Was There, The Junction
Sexy Bitch, Akon (sorry, but I can’t get this song out of my head. Oh, what the heck - let’s throw The Lonely Stoner by Kid Cudi in, too).
Last Parade, Matthew Good
The Fear, Lily Allen

Best cover song:
Use Somebody, (Kings of Leon cover) Bat for Lashes

Favourite remixes:
Every Little Earthquake (Yes Giantess Remix), Little Boots

The Zolas
Little Boots
