Toronto – 7 long years. That’s almost two presidential terms (or about 8 Canadian elections). This is the amount of time between Massive Attack albums. Their fifth album, Heligoland is coming out on February 9th. I am quite excited about it. Granted, I was not the biggest fan of 100th Window, but their previous albums speak for themselves. The latest album brings along a plethora of guest vocalists, including Guy Harvey (of Elbow), Damon Albarn (of Blur), Hope Sandoval,Martina Topley-Bird (of Tricky) and of course, Horace Andy. Anyways, a new album means a possible tour, and if the Carlu show from a few years ago (one of my all time concert highlights) is any indication, then I’ll definitely be there when they come around again.
