Songs I like in 2000s – Sophie Ellis Bextor – Murder on the Dance Floor

Toronto – I’ve always had a soft spot for good pop music, and so it should come as no surprise that one of the songs I’ve enjoyed in the past ten years was Sophie Ellis Bextor’s single Murder on the Dancefloor from 2000. I remember my friend Adam was obsessed with her (and her endless legs) back in the day and kept on forwarding me her music videos. I guess 2001 was a pretty big year for Sophie, as her album Read My Lips sold over two million copies worldwide. Anyways, this is a good, fun, poppy song..and a cute video too. I heard it at a Halloween party on Friday and definitely was pleasantly surprised.
