rakes

Toronto – WTF. The Rakes split up yesterday, on the eve of their tour, which also featured a stop in Toronto, where yours truly had a ticket to the show. ARGGGGHH. Here is what lead singer Alan Donohue said “if we can’t give it everything then we won’t do it. That was the rule we set ourselves from day one. After much deliberation we have come to the shared conclusion that we can’t give it 100% any more and regret to announce that the Rakes are calling it a day.

This really blows. I really really enjoyed Ten New Messages and Captured/Release and was really looking forward to the show. argh.

Heres a song.
