Yeah, that was definitely a great show. I enjoyed the fact that they did a really good job with the sound mixing and volume. The volume was perfect which is such a rarity for live rock shows, and the actual mixing was great. You could hear everything well. And that was done without Sufjan's regular sound guy, who got held up at the border (for some, ahem, reason?) and they had to rely on the local sound guy.

The females in the crowd (and probably many males?) were definitely coo'ing over Sufjan the entire show.

The banter was funny:
Some guy in crowd: "What was the name of that last song?"
Sufjan: "Delighted people"
Some guy in crowd: "What's it about?"
Sufjan: "I don't know"

I also wondered how Sufjan could possibly keep all those lyrics in his head. His songs have complex lyrics and don't follow the standard verse-chorus-verse-chorus formula. It was charming when he was singing a new song and had to look to Nedelle because he forgot his own lyrics.
