Playboy has Music? Yep. I guess they have a new video series called “Uncovered” which has some videos of artist doing covers. This week is Dinosaur Jr, who covers The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven”. I think the Panic Manual would definitely like an invite to the Playboy mansion to witness some of these tapings. Hint Hint. Other upcoming videos include The Dears covering Metric and A Camp covering Leon Payne. Dinosaur Jr will also play 8 Canadian dates, with Pink Mountaintops or Lou Barlow opening up. Here are the dates:

Hardworking Toronto band The Darcy’s are going to bugger off to Montreal to chill out with the Dears Murray Lightburn for awhile as they record their sophomore album. Their last show before a break will be THIS THURSDAY at Sneaky Dee’s.. Go check it out if you have time. Attached is a Final Fantasy cover by this band.

Maritime rockers Two Hours Traffic have announced their new album ‘Territory’ will be released September 8. It’ll be their third album and given the amount of publicity ‘Little Jabs’ got, I would say this is the one that they try to make it big on. It is produced by Panic Manual favorite Joel Plaskett and should be good ole honest rock. They have made their song ‘Territory’ available for download. For the record, I don’t think PEI would ever have two hours traffic. Doesn’t it take like 14 minutes to drive from one side of the island to the other? The press photo has them all wearing v-neck shirts of different colors, makes me think that they are the power rangers of east coast rock music or something. Anyways, the tune is on the bottom of the post, check it out yo.
