I’ve decided to do some daily music news, we’ll see how long this lasts.
Jack White’s new band The Dead Weather will release their debut album today. It’s called “Horehound” and is available here. To promote this, they will be doing a dj set on some radio station called WOXY sometime today. Tour dates of interest include:

What are the odds that Jack White starts another band next year?
Swedish pop sensation Anna Ternheim has shared her single “What Have I Done” with the general masses in anticipation of her album “Leaving on a mayday” which comes out on August. Her stuff is produced by Bjorn of the Swedish band Peter, Bjorn and John, as I like to call them, Peanut Butter and Jam. Anna is opening up for Loney Dear / Asobi Seksu. Here are the Canadian dates.

Toronto Band The Wooden Sky will be starting their Bedrooms & Backstreets Tour. I assume that’s because they’ll be couchsurfing people’s bedrooms and backstreets or something. I find it very cute that they are touring all these dinky towns everywhere. Here are some nearby tour dates, who would think of playing Waterloo? really. Theres more tour dates on their myspace page.
