I've never found her all that interesting and the little I heard of Chances didn't do much to change my mind. You know who ought to win? K'NAAN, because Troubadour is joyous and heartbreaking and just fucking awesome. It literally made me cry at parts. It would also be a welcome chance for Polaris to put their "all genres welcome" money where their mouth is. If Jill Barber wins I’ll very disappointed.
