Toronto – Being in the IT industry, it is tough to maintain a good healthy lifestyle – there are long hours, you spend most of your day in a sitting position, you drink lots of coffee during the day to keep you awake.. and you drink lots of beer at nite to help you sleep. What it comes down to, is that it is difficult stay fit. Now despite the fact that I play in both a hockey and soccer league, I still find it challenging to maintain any sort of upper body strength. I figured this out when I got tired after carrying a 24 up the stairs. I guess maybe it is also because I can usually convince other people to do the hard work for me. Who knows. So in my typical stroke of genius way, I have developed the Panic Manual One-A-Day routine

Basic premise:
Day 1 -> 1 pushup, 1 situp
Day 2 -> 2 pushups, 2 situps
Day 3 -> 3 pushups, 3 situps

Easy! I think because of the slow build of it, it will be easier and less time consuming then other workouts. Make sure you stretch!

The only problem with this routine is it will be hard to put on workout music for the first three or four months, since there are very few songs that are like 10 seconds long.

Here is a song by a band named ‘Muscles‘, something I will have in one years time maybe.

It was also a show I watched growing up in the slums of Hong Kong

    Check out some punk tunes. Bands like NOFX have plenty of 30 second tracks. And it’s motivational too!
