futurecop

Toronto – Futurecop! are two blokes from England who specialize in that Valerie/synthy eighties cut copy modular/french electropop sound that I have been listening to for the past few months. They also are the owners of the most excessively coloured myspace ever. Seriously, the myspace page is like a gay pride parade on acid.

I was listening to their EP or whatever it was and what do I see? Everyone’s favorite indie guest spot rapper – Dizzee Rascal on the song ‘Youngstar’. This guy puts in more cameo appearances on songs then Rob Schneider in Adam Sandler movies.

I think Futurecop has an album out in 2009 sometime. I can’t really properly evaluate the collection of tunes I have on this stuff since I generally listen to this stuff when I am working and it all blends in. Maybe that in itself is a review.
