Ahhh I love the Sunparlour Players!! I've seen them 3 times already, and when they were a two piece, selling small ornaments and bottled chutney on the side.

Glad you liked the show!! We should go to their show at the start of December-- 4th or 5th at the Dakota.

One of the more entertaining aspects of their show when I saw them at Sled Island in Calgary last Spring was the third guy you couldn't see. He plays drums, mostly, but he has a glockenspiel and when he plays that he just ROCKS THE FUCK OUT ON IT. It's really funny to see.

Some shows they also sell mustard and red pepper spread from family recipes. Both are pretty good, I used up all the mustard but I think there's still some spread. I bought it along with their album "Hymns for the Happy," which is very good. I also said "hi" and great set to the drummer and lead singer when I bought the mustard. Seemed like nice guys. I wish I'd gone to see the Sadies show last week where they were opening.
