I have now given it a spin and can reveal that it's quite good. Lots of swirling Hammond running through nearly all the tracks with some strong New Orderesque bass lines. Tim Burgess's lyrics do sometimes leave a lot to be desired but I think he's improved this part of his game over the years. For me, a 3.5 / 5. p.s. & the track entitled 'Misbegotten' is simply superb. What a truly intriguing and in depth review of the new Charlatans album.
