I'm still trying to get into this album, slowly growing, first 2 listens just sounded like a blur however, pace seems stagnant. It certainly doesnt hit me like their classic self titled album which was incredible. I'll keep listening, the best albums grow and take time... i hope this one does, from this review i'll try it another couple of times

I don't think it is a great album, but there is much worse music around.
It is not their most original, being too often into someon else territory as strokes, white stripes and queens of the stone age, despite a rockier edge is appreciated!

check their exclusive pictures live on stage on liveon35mm.com

ciao

Wooooooh....young grasshopper. Britpop was almost 15 years ago? Yeah. If you define your Britpop as Suede, Oasis, Pulp and Blur.

Also I'm not sure how you are measuring your tiers but sorry to say. James was internationally alot more popular than Suede ever will be. I think you need to bump Suede and Pulp down to tier 2.

Better than the last two albums? Hey, dismissing Life On Other Planets is just plain foolish.
