Toronto – In an effort to become the first ever indie-twee-britpop music/random sport posts/movie,video and food review/asian gossip site,, I am here to make you aware of what is turning out to be the biggest scandal in Hong Kong entertainment industry ever. It starts with Edison Chen, he’s one of those rising movie/music star/pop idol. By the way, every music star in Hong Kong is a movie star, and vice versa. It’s quite economical. Anyway, this guy must have some sick pickup lines, as he has dated what appears to be every single young female celebrity in Hong Kong. Every single one. So this guy, is a fan of cameras and he decides to take scandalous pictures of his female friends and puts it on his computer. So what happens? his computer breaks.and he takes it in for repairs..with like 1300 pictures of his girlfriends in compromising positions.. all these girlfriends are celebrities. How dumb can you be? anyways, this past week the pictures have leaked out and about 10 careers are probably gonna go down the drain. Fascinating stuff, I can’t wait to go to Hong Kong in a month.
It’s hard to explain, but this scandal is massive. Hong Kong is still a pretty conservative place. I mean, I think mainstream movies first started show makeout scenes like 12 years ago and my grandma almost had a heart attack when she saw the guy and girl star make out. Second of all, most female celebrities in Asia have squeaky, squeaky clean images. It’s all about being innocent, cute and fun. That’s the image that is sold and now of course, like 8 of these celebrities have images of them sucking cock. That’ll be a hard sell. If this was India, I am sure all these people would have been executed by now.
