When my friend told me it was -17 degrees in Edmonton just a few minutes ago, I freaked out. I was like, whoa there nelly, thats mighty cold!

In actuality, -17 is pretty normal for Edmonton standards, have I really become a wuss like everyone said I would become when I moved here? Yesterday I walked like 3 minutes all the way back to my office as I was leaving because I forgot my scarf. MY SCARF. It was like 3 degrees. If I was living in Edmonton, and it was 3 degrees outside, I probably wouldn’t even have a jacket on, and now I am going back to work to grab a scarf? So freaking weird.

I can’t even begin to imagine what -17 is like anymore, to me, -17 reminds me of that scene in a Day After Tommorrow, when that freaking cold hurricane comes and turns everyone into icicles and if you touched your arm, it would just snap off.

I shutter to think what -30 or -40 (wind chill) would be like nowadays. To think, I endured this stuff for seventeen years. I must have been a brave man.

Yeah thats two posts in the past hour and abit, work has been moderately slow today.
