I have just commited to purchasing season tickets for the MLS soccer team Toronto FC. Granted, I have developed an enthusiam for soccer the past few years that I did not expect, but this is more or less the third Toronto team I have put my support under. I guess after three years, I can consider myself..someone who support my current city’s team. I don’t really know if I’d ever say “I’m from Toronto” outside the confines of the GTA (I usually say i’m from hong kong) but I guess this is something.

I now support 3 Toronto teams: Toronto Raptors (10 pack), Toronto Blue Jays (occasional game), Toronto FC (season tickets).

However, that is about all the Ontario based teams I can support, as I would rather rip my arm off and shove it up my ass repeatedly then cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs or the Toronto Argonauts.

The MLS season should be rather interesting, as I have never seen a league soccer game before. I have only seen an exhibition game between FC ROMA and Glasgow Celtics before so it will be a moderately new experience.

Also, I think that for every day that Sam Mitchell remains the head coach of the Toronto Raptors, I die a little inside.
